It's pronounced lie-zee.

Leisy grew up on Martinsville VA in the Bassett furniture family and graduated from high school in Sandersville GA. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BS in architecture in 2010 and a graduate degree in architecture in 2011. He interned with Rice Architecture in Amelia Island FL then worked for WH Gross Construction designing coastal spec homes. In 2014 he moved to Charlotte NC and established a practice called Bassett Homes LLC.
