Clark Tate was born in. He graduated from Georgia in Fine Arts in 1997, followed by a Masters in Architecture from UVA in 2006. He interned with Out of Time Architecture in New York in 2006. From 2006 to 2016, he worked for Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects in Atlanta, working on before co-founding Point Office in 2016,

Won a 2019 AIA North Carolina Honor Award, 2019 AIA Atlanta Merit Award, 2020 Matsumoto Prize 1st Place Jury, 2020 AIA Georgia Merit Award, 2024 Georgia Design Silver Award, and was featured on the cover of Ocean Home magazine in 2025.
