Austen Clapp

(1986– )

Clapp grew up in Greensboro NC and went to Ragsdale HS, graduating in 2004. He graduated in 2009 with a BA in Architecture from UT Knoxville and in 2017 from Harvard with a Masters of Architecture. He interned with Smee+Busby in Knoxville TN and HGA Arhitektur in Estonia. He worked with PNP Design Group in Greensboro NC and Duda Paine in Durham NC. In 2016 he opened his own firm, Schemata Studio, in Greenboro NC. He joined STITCH part-time in Winston-Salem NC in 2021 and full-time in 2022. In 2023, he returned to Schemata and founded a gallery, PROXY.
