Bernard Black

(1969– )

Born in Laurinburg NC and raised in Charlotte NC, Black earned a Bachelor's in Sociology from UNCC in 1991. He was accepted in the School of Architecture at UNCC, but as that program required a fulltime commitment, and he had to work, the opportunity passed. Black pursued a career in technology for the next 30 years but never lost his love and admiration for design. He started developing custom modern homes in 2014. In 2019 he formed his real estate development company Futrhomes LLC.
