Around 1950 - The Thomas Shockley House, 780 South Ridge Street, Southern Pines NC. Designed by E. J. Austin.  Deeded before 2000 to son William A. (Bill) and Patricia Shockley. Sold in 2016 to Southern Pines Cottage Rentals LLC.  Sold in 2024 to Joanna Sanford who did a renovation.


1952 - The Robert Bruce and Joan Warlick House, 150 Hillside Road, Southern Pines NC. Designed by John Foster Faulk. Sold in 2020 to Todd and Kimberly Stout who restored the house.

1963 - The Harry M. and Jane Barbour Drexel Vale Jr. House, 1645 East Indiana Avenue, Southern Pines NC. Harry Vale died after only a year in the house.  Designed by Austin and Faulk of Southern Pines. Landscape design by Harry Vale. Built by Van Thomas of Siler City. Jane Drexel Vale married John Porteous sold the house in 1975 to Stuart R. Paine and Barbara W. Paine. Sold in 1980 to Robert J. Brown and Joyce M. Sparks. Sold in 1996 to Sir Francis Luton. 1973 - The Diana Dodge House, aka Ponds and Pines, 324 Thomson Trail, Southern Pines NC. Home, manager's apartment, and horse stables designed by her brother, David Elgin Dodge, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.







1974 - The Richard and Jane Adrian House, 125 Horseshoe Road, Southern Pines NC.  Architect unknown.  Sold in 2023 to Joseph Smith and Allison Auman Smith, who did a renovation.

1976 - The Gordon E. Burns Jr. House, 2225 Airport Road, Whispering Pines NC. Designed by Gordon E. Burns Jr, who co-designed the Southern Pines Airport across the street. There were multiple sales/owner combinations by the Burns family. Sold in 1993 to Larry and Peggy Dunham. Sold in 1996 to Peggy Dunham, as of 1997 Peggy B. Schaffer. There is an architectural model of the house which has no information on the architect. Went into foreclosure in 2011. Sold in 2012 to TCC Vanderbuilt LLC. Sold in 2013. Sold in 2018 to Neal Kanneberg.
