JOHN R. BURGESS, AIA (1953-)
Burgess was born in Akron OH and went to high school in Miami OK. He graduated from Kent State in architecture in 1978, interning with Morris*Aubry Architects in Houston TX. He worked for Odell in Charlotte from 1985-1987, then Clark Tribble Li from 1987-1991, Middleton McMillan Architects 1991-1996, then own his own from then.
2008 - The Hall M. and Paige Johnson III House, 512 North Tryon Street, Charlotte. Designed by John Burgess. Residence upstairs, store downstairs. Commissioned 2006. Burgess has additional renovations since.
