KRISTINA HELD (1976-)
Held grew up in Montenegro and Serbia. She studied architecture in Belgrade from 1994-1998 then attended the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany in 2000 and UNC Charlotte in 2004. Held interned with RKWArchitektur 1998-1999 and Isaacs and Associates 2000-2004. She worked for Overcash Demmitt Architects 2004-2007 and was an adjunct professor of interior design at Queens University 2009-2010. From 2011 to 2013 she was assistant professor at the Art Institute of Charlotte. From 2013 to 2015, she founded Grün Sustainable Architecture and Design, which merged with Insight Architects. In 2025, she formed her own firm, Held Architecture PC.
