JOHN W. N. (NICK) HAMMER (1976-)

Nick Hammer grew up in downtown Raleigh, graduating from Broughton HS. He received his BA in Film & Television Studies from UNC-CH in 1998, which led him to New York City working for MTV and Polshek Partnership (now Ennead Architects) before returning to North Carolina.

Hammer received his Masters of Architecture from the NCSU College of Design in 2004. While at NCSU, he worked as an intern for Szostak Design and ACG Design. After graduating, he joined Jacobs in Raleigh which closed in 2016.


2015 - The Dana A. Bartelt House, 601 Honey Lane, Raleigh NC. Designed for his mom. Construction by Craig Zeigler, Zeigler Classic Homes.


2017 - The Nick Hammer House, 609 Honey Lane, Raleigh.
