CHARLES MORRISON GRIER (1922-1995)

After graduating from Riverside Military Academy, Grier attended Clemson 1941-1943 until his service in WWII with the 2nd Separate Engineering Battalion of the 3rd Marine Corps Division.  He worked for Charles Connelly; Sloan and Wheatley; started his own firm in 1954.  He married Marcia and their two daughters were Marcia Grier of Charlotte and Faye Bennett of Inman SC.

1958 - The Howie (HB) and Hazel Crothers House, 3401 Seward Place, Charlotte NC. Built by G. E. Vinroot. Featured in The Charlotte News, 3/19/1960. Sold in 1992 to William Carras. Sold in 2004 to S. Martin and Hilary Davidson.

1961 - The Wilbert E. and Viola Rankin House, 3111 Spring Valley Road, Charlotte NC. Built by John Crosland Homes. Featured in Practical Builder magazine, November 1961.
