NCMH Piedmont Modernism Tour - Self Drive Version
Winston-Salem / Lewisville / Greensboro NC

Saturday, June 10, 10am-3pm

Enjoy a great day touring new Modernist houses around Winston-Salem, and meet the architects and builders, including Adam Sebastian, Ben Schwab, and Pate Fala of STITCH, plus Buddy Glasscoe.

You'll drive from house to house on your own.  The five houses in Winston-Salem are adjacent to each other.

Your ticket is your admission to each house.  Visit as many or as few houses as you want; show your ticket at each one.

To reduce dirt and damage to floors, tour participants are required to remove their shoes (or bring your own booties) at each house.

Tickets

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 after June 1 and onsite (at the WS Holland Street houses only) the day of the tour.   This gets you in to all the houses.

Also available: NCMH family pass $50, includes up to four children under 18!  And, any child you carry is free (strollers are not permitted in any of the houses).

The Fine Print

Your ticket is your admission to each house.  Visit as many or as few houses as you want; show your ticket at each one.

Once payment is made, there are no refunds for any reason except for tour cancellation.

Some houses are not handicap-accessible.

 Food, drink, smoking, and strollers are not permitted inside any houses. 

The tour runs rain or shine. The houses are subject to cancellation or change without notice or refund.

Architects can get self-reported CEU hours if arranged in advance with the AIA.

Photos are allowed and encouraged both inside and outside all the houses.

Proceeds benefit NC Modernist Houses, a 501C3 nonprofit educational archive documenting, preserving, and promoting Modernist residential architecture.
